Online registration and payment for all participants is encouraged, but should you not be able to register online, please download the relevant printable PDF registration forms. Alternatively you can contact the race organiser to forward you a registration form.

WHERE DO THE RUNNING EVENTS START?
The marathon starts at Pro-Ed Akademie Primary School in Vineta, Swakopmund, Kiaat Street.
The 21.1km half marathon starts at Long Beach opposite Daredevil Adventures (quad bike and dune boarding adventure centre).
The 10km fun run starts at Jan Wilken Stadium in Walvis Bay.
All races finish at the Jan Wilken Stadium in Walvis Bay..

All cycling events start and finish at the Jan Wilken Stadium in Walvis Bay.
WHAT TIME DO THE RUNNING EVENTS START?
The marathon starts at 06h00.
The half marathon starts at 07h00.
The 10km fun run starts at 08h00.
Note: athletes must be at the starting point at least 30 minutes before the start of their race.

The 105km road race starts at 06h30.
The 21km Mountain and Fat bike races start at 07h30.
The 5km kiddies ride start at 07h30.

WHEN DO ENTRIES CLOSE FOR RUNNING AND CYCLING EVENTS?
Closing date for all entries is Monday, 16 September 2019. If you still wish to register after this date you can do so in person on 5 October 2018 at the registration point at Jan Wilken Stadium, Walvis Bay.
ARE ENTRY FEES REFUNDABLE?
The entry fees are not refundable under any circumstances.

Full marathon & Half marathon – N$200
10km fun run – N$150

105km Road Race – N$200

HOW WILL YOU KNOW IF YOUR ENTRY FORM HAS BEEN ACCEPTED?
After you have registered online, you will receive an automatic confirmation via email. Please make sure to check your Trash/Junk folder should you not receive a confirmation email. Alternatively you can contact the race organiser to confirm your entry.
Manual registrations must be faxed to 064-218 499 or emailed to firstname.lastname@example.org before the registration closing date of 16 September 2019. Registrations sent after this date will not be accepted.
WHAT WILL YOU NEED IN ORDER TO REGISTER AND COLLECT YOUR RACE NUMBER?
You will not be permitted to collect your race number without:
• Proof of identification (ID, Passport or Driver’s License)
• Proof of payment (EFT confirmation) if you registered manually
WHEN AND WHERE CAN YOU COLLECT YOUR RACE NUMBER?
All participants MUST collect their race numbers on the day prior to the event (4 October 2019) at the Voortrekker Hall in 12th Road opposite the main entrance to the Jan Wilken Stadium in Walvis Bay (look out for the directional signs).
Collection must be done in person any time from 12h00 until 22h00. Should you not be able to pick up your race number in person, you can make arrangements with a proxy.
All participants who have paid their registration in full on/before close of registrations on 16 September 2019 will be eligible for a t-shirt.
NO RACE NUMBERS WILL BE ISSUED ON THE DAY OF THE RACE.
CAN ANYONE ENTER THE EVENT?
The marathon and half marathon events are restricted to runners only.
The 10km fun run event is open to the general public. Should any person with disabilities wish to enter, please inform us accordingly.
For the cycling races, any self-propelled cycle will be permitted including wheel chair cyclists.
IS THERE ANY AGE RESTRICTION FOR EVENTS?
The age restrictions are indicated on the registration pages for each running and cycling event.
CAN YOU RUN OR CYCLE WITH YOUR PET?
No animals will be permitted.
WHEN DO I HAVE TO BE AT THE STARTING POINT?
All participants MUST be at their starting point at least 30 minutes before the race starts.
HOW LONG DO YOU HAVE TO COMPLETE THE RACE?
Cut-off time for all events are 12h00.
HOW WILL THE TIMEKEEPING WORK?
Participants will be provided with an electronic chip at registration which they need to wear on their person or attach to their bicycle.
TRAVEL, PICK-UP, SHUTTLE AND ACCOMMODATION?
NO travel, transport and accommodation assistance will be provided. All participants need to make their own arrangements, including transport between Walvis Bay and Swakopmund.
A shuttle service WILL ONLY be provided for the HALF MARATHON participants from Jan Wilken Stadium in Walvis Bay to the starting point at Long Beach at 06h00 on the race day. Please make sure to book your seat when you collect your race number the day before the event. Cost N$50.
